Simpson Ahuevo, also known as Jorge Alberto Beltrán Robles, is a Mexican MC and photographer from Hermosillo, Sonora, who is now based in Mexico City and is known for genre-shifting hip-hop that incorporates elements of funk, jazz and rock. As a performer, Simpson Ahuevo is recognised as a sonic ambassador of north-western Mexico, with a lyrically ingenious style that offers a fresh and satirical perspective on urban life.
