Shpongle are a psychedelic electronic music project from England, formed by Simon Posford and Raja Ram, considered progenitors of the psybient genre, combining world music with psychedelic trance and ambient. What makes them notable is distinctive live performances often feature Raja Ram's flute arrangements alongside synthesisers, studio work and live instrumentation from Posford, sometimes incorporating the Shpongletron stage show with immersive visuals.
