DJ Ruffneck, or Patrick van Kerckhoven, is a Dutch DJ and producer from Alblasserdam, recognised as a pioneer of hardcore techno, particularly artcore and darkcore. Distinctive sounds, blending breakbeats with distorted kicks and Juno synths, have ensured their enduring influence on the hardcore scene.
