Mess Esque is an Australian musical project based in Melbourne and Brisbane, the collaboration of Dirty Three guitarist Mick Turner and McKisko composer Helen Franzmann, creating a synthesis of dream pop, psych soul and ethereal indie rock. Their live performances feature a full band and are known for mesmeric qualities, with Franzmann's serene vocals drifting within Turner's sonic landscape.
