Medina Azahara are a Spanish band formed in Córdoba who blend hard rock, progressive rock and Andalusian rock, sometimes incorporating symphonic and flamenco elements. Notable in their performances is the flamenco-inspired vocals of frontman Manuel Martínez, which, combined with hard-edged guitar work, creates a passionate atmosphere.
