Mali Obomsawin is an Indigenous musician from the Abenaki First Nation at Odanak, specialising as a bassist, vocalist, songwriter, and composer across free-jazz, rock, and American roots music. What makes Obomsawin notable on the international music circuit is her ability to weave Indigenous traditions into modern jazz and improvisation, telling stories of culture, identity and resilience.
