KATLA is the name of at least two music groups: an Icelandic atmospheric rock/metal duo, and a Danish sludge/doom metal trio from Copenhagen. The latter are notable for unusual instrumentation including a singing drummer and bassist, which adds a distinctive dimension to the otherwise rigid genre in their live performances.
