Incantation are an American death metal band formed in 1989, who became leaders in the New York City death metal scene and are now based in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Their distinctive sound mixes varied tempos with down-tuned passages akin to death/doom bands, and this makes their live performances a brutal, intense experience.
