Daft Punk were a French electronic music duo, consisting of Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, who helped define the French house music movement with their blend of house, funk, disco, and pop. What made them particularly memorable on the international festival circuit was their elaborate stage productions, often featuring a large LED-fronted pyramid and their signature robot personas.
