Chief Adjuah, previously known as Christian Scott, is a New Orleans-based trumpeter, composer, and producer who merges jazz with hip hop, alternative rock, and West African elements in his "Stretch Music". His live performances are distinguished by custom-designed instruments like the Adjuah trumpet and innovative techniques such as the whisper technique.
