Ashkan Shafiei is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and composer whose music draws on Iranian folk traditions and the sounds of 1960s and 70s Tehran; he is currently based in Sydney. Shafiei's performances create a space for connection, interweaving heritage and modernity into a unique sound.
