Choose the right arrival hub
Summer Breeze’s travel guide recommends Ellwangen for many rail arrivals and also describes connections via Ansbach, Dombühl, Nördlingen and Crailsheim. It gives different journey-planner entries for arrival and departure: the festival entrance inbound and Dinkelsbühl Schiesswasen outbound.

Special buses are not ordinary local transport
The organiser says the Deutschlandticket is not valid on its specially financed festival buses. It separately describes a free daytime town shuttle and a paid night shuttle. Check the exact service before assuming a rail pass or daytime free ride covers your late return.

Camping and vehicle arrival
