Metropolis Festival is a long-standing free music festival in Rotterdam's Zuiderpark, celebrated for launching the careers of emerging international and local talent. As of 2025, the festival has been officially cancelled due to a loss of municipal subsidies, and its future beyond that remains uncertain.
