About this festival
Eternal Sun Festival is a small-scale, inclusive coastal gathering in the remote village of Sougia on Crete’s Libyan Sea, framed by the sun-drenched valley beneath the White Mountains. Nights roll into dawn with carefully curated DJs and selectors soundtracking dancers as they move barefoot on dusty ground, with sea breeze, first light over the hills, and a feeling of everyone knowing everyone by the end.
