Milkweed are a UK duo creating experimental folk music, incorporating elements of traditional music, dub, and spoken word. What makes them notable is their use of serendipitously obtained written source material from obscure books and folklore journals to extract lyrics, which they then weave into short songs with lo-fi recording techniques and instrumentation.
